General Information
The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data with which you can be personally identified. Detailed information can be found in the following sections.
Data Collection on This Website
Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find their contact details in the section "Information on the Responsible Entity" in this privacy policy.
How do we collect your data?
Your data is collected in part by you providing it to us. This may, for example, be data you send us by email. Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system, or the time the page was accessed).
What do we use your data for?
Part of the data is collected to ensure the error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used to process your inquiry.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipients, and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time regarding this and other questions on the subject of data protection.
2. General Information and Mandatory Disclosures
Data Protection
The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.
Information on the Responsible Entity
The entity responsible for data processing on this website is:
MK ConMerge GmbH
Blasewitzer Straße 41
01307 Dresden
Germany
Represented by the Managing Director: Martin Kanter
Phone: +49 351 42487400
Email:
The responsible entity is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of processing personal data.
Storage Period
Unless a more specific storage period is stated within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for processing no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for deletion or revoke consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible grounds for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, deletion takes place once these grounds no longer apply.
General Information on the Legal Bases for Data Processing
If you have consented to data processing, we process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. If your data is required for the fulfillment of a contract or for the performance of pre-contractual measures, we process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Processing of data to fulfill a legal obligation is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. Data processing may also be based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The applicable legal basis in each individual case is set out in the following sections of this privacy policy.
Recipients of Personal Data
As part of our business activities, we work with various external parties. In some cases, this also requires the transfer of personal data to these external parties. We only pass on personal data to external parties where this is necessary for the fulfillment of a contract, where we are legally obligated to do so, where we have a legitimate interest in the transfer, or where another legal basis permits the transfer. Where processors are used, we only pass on personal data on the basis of a valid data processing agreement.
Revocation of Your Consent to Data Processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out prior to the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to Object to Data Collection in Special Cases and to Direct Marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)
If data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right at any time to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this privacy policy. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims (objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR).
Right to Lodge a Complaint with the Competent Supervisory Authority
In the event of breaches of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement. This right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy. The supervisory authority responsible for us is:
Die Sächsische Datenschutz- und Transparenzbeauftragte
Devrientstraße 5
01067 Dresden, Germany
Phone: +49 351 85471-101
Website: www.saechsdsb.de
Right to Data Portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.
Access, Rectification, and Deletion
Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing and, where applicable, a right to rectification or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time regarding this and other questions on the subject of personal data.
Right to Restriction of Processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time for this purpose. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:
- If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we generally need time to verify this. For the duration of the review, you have the right to request the restriction of processing.
- If the processing of your personal data happened or is happening unlawfully, you may request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
- If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend, or assert legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of processing instead of deletion.
- If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of processing.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data may – apart from being stored – only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person, or for reasons of an important public interest of the European Union or a member state.
SSL/TLS Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as inquiries you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
3. Hosting
We host the content of our website with the following provider:
Vercel Inc.
440 N Barranca Avenue #4133
Covina, CA 91723

When you visit our website, Vercel processes data such as IP addresses and access times as part of the technical delivery. Processing takes place in part on servers in the USA. The use of Vercel is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the most reliable and secure presentation of our website possible.

In addition, we have concluded a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR with Vercel. This ensures that Vercel processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

4. Data Collection on This Website
Server Log Files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- browser type and browser version
- operating system used
- referrer URL
- host name of the accessing computer
- time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources. This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website – for this purpose, the server log files must be collected. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected, generally after 30 days at the latest.
Inquiry by Email
If you contact us by email, your inquiry, including all personal data resulting from it (name, inquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, provided your inquiry is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for the performance of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The data you send to us by email will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been fully processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.
Local Storage
On your first visit, this website stores a technically necessary notice in the local storage of your browser so that a notice you have confirmed does not reappear on every page load. No personal data is collected or transmitted to us in the process. This storage is exempt from consent pursuant to Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG, as it is strictly necessary for the function you have expressly requested. You can delete the entry at any time via your browser settings.
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies for analytics, tracking, or marketing purposes, and does not embed any external analytics or tracking services.
5. Fonts
To display fonts consistently, this website uses fonts stored locally on our server. When you access a page, your browser loads the required fonts from our server in order to display text correctly. No connection to third-party servers (such as Google Fonts) takes place in the process.
6. No Automated Decision-Making
Automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR, does not take place.
7. Objection to Advertising Emails
We hereby object to the use of contact data published within the framework of the legal notice obligation for the transmission of advertising and information material not expressly requested. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, for example through spam emails.
8. Data Protection Officer
We are not legally obligated to appoint a data protection officer and have therefore not designated one. For questions regarding data protection, please contact the responsible entity named above.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or in order to implement changes to our services in the privacy policy. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
